Something new and something old

I had a little different school day on Monday bacause I was the only one from my group at school. The others were on a student cruise. Guest lecturer was Katja Järveläinen from Gapps. She is a customer success manager there. She told us for example about Google for work.

Ms Järveläinen told us that cloud computing and Google is a new, samless way of working. This is a good new thing because work happens everywhere and on more devices than even. Gapps helps companies with this. They have some famous clients such as Yle and Aalto university. But why use Google for work? It is perfect for mobile use and especially it is build for teams. It works with all files and it is also a good collaboration platform.

I was very interested in this topic and I even went to speak with her after the lecture.

This week we didn't have any weekly tasks because we have a lot of things to do anyways. We met with our team on Wednesday in Sello and talked about what we will have to do. There are at least three videos that we have to do so the pressure is really on! (Plus other tasks from different courses of course). And we don't have too much school left before the winter break. I hope we can make everything on time!

On Thursday one of our digital coaches Arman Nuri talked us about content marketing. Again a familiar topic and we have had lectures about that before. Here is Arman Nuri:

This time we presented a video we made weeks ago because we didn't have any task given to us this week. Two other groups presented what they had made too. We have to do a final video so we filmed Arman's lecture and we asked if Ilkka Kurkela could film our presentation too. This way we can add these material to that video.

It was an ok week but we are kind of stressed. But we can do it!
